Brushing, minus the hair storm. Even in shedding season.

You know how this goes. The brush comes out, and within a minute there's a halo of loose hair drifting across the room — onto the sofa, into the rug, all over the one dark jumper you own. Half of it never made it into the brush at all. And your cat has already decided she's finished, because the bristles catch and tug every time they hit a knot.

VaporBrush works the other way round. A fine mist settles the coat as you brush, so loose hair clings to the silicone bristles instead of taking off around the room. One press of the button releases the lot straight into the bin. Kinder on your pet, and far less to clean up afterwards.

  • De-sheds in one pass

Mist, brush and collect all at the same time, so a full groom takes minutes instead of an afternoon of chasing hair around the room.

  • Soft enough for cats

Flexible silicone bristles bend around knots instead of pulling. Not sure about your pet's coat? Message us before you order and we'll tell you honestly.

  • Hair stays in the brush

A lightly damp coat keeps loose hair clinging to the bristles, so it ends up in the bin rather than on the sofa and your clothes.

  • Cordless and rechargeable

Charges over USB-C and holds enough for several sessions. No cable trailing across the floor while you're trying to hold a wriggling pet.

Why owners are ditching the slicker brush

A dry brush lifts hair off the coat and straight into the air — onto the rug, the sofa and you. Stiff wire pins snag on knots too, which is why so many cats bolt after thirty seconds. VaporBrush dampens as it works, so the hair stays where you can throw it away.

Mists the coat so loose hair doesn't fly

Soft silicone that won't catch or tug

One press empties the hair straight into the bin

Still Have a Question?

Will it work on my pet's coat?

It suits short and medium coats best — most cats, and dogs like Labradors, Beagles and Frenchies. On a long or thick double coat it works well as a finishing and de-shedding tool, but it won't replace an undercoat rake on heavy matting. If your pet has a long coat or mats easily, message us before you order — we'd rather tell you honestly than process a return.

Is it actually hot steam?

No, and we'd rather be straight with you about that. It sprays a fine cool mist rather than heated steam. The point isn't heat — it's dampening the coat just enough that loose hair clings to the bristles instead of flying off.

Nothing about the brush gets warm, so there's nothing that can burn or scald your pet.

Will my cat put up with it?

Most pets settle within two or three sessions. The motor is quiet and the mist is a light spray rather than a jet, so there's no hiss and nothing goes in their face.

Our advice for nervous pets: run it with the mist switched off first and just brush, then add the water on the second or third go. Cats who fight a wire slicker often tolerate this one fine.

What do I put in the tank?

Plain water is all it needs. You can add a small amount of a pet-safe grooming spray if you want, but keep it well diluted and rinse the tank afterwards.

Avoid essential oils and human hair products — many are toxic to cats in particular, and thicker liquids will clog the nozzle.

How do I clean it?

Press the release to eject the hair, then rinse the bristle head under the tap and wipe it dry. Empty the water tank between sessions rather than leaving water standing in it.

One thing to note: don't submerge the handle or the charging port. That's where the electronics are, and water in there will finish it.
