Dog Cooling Mat

The cold patch of kitchen tile is taken. Again.

You know the summer routine. Their bed goes untouched, and your dog is stretched out flat on the one cool strip of tile by the fridge. Panting. Shifting every few minutes to find a patch that hasn't warmed up under them yet. By August you've given up on the hallway entirely.

Chill Paws gives them that cold patch wherever they actually want to lie. The gel cools the moment they settle onto it, then recharges itself while they're up. Nothing to freeze, nothing to fill, nothing to plug in.

  • Cools on contact

Their own weight activates the gel. No waiting for it to chill, no ten minutes in the freezer first.

  • Five sizes, cat to Great Dane

From 50x40cm up to 150x100cm. Not sure which one suits your dog? Message us before you order and we'll tell you honestly.

  • Nothing to plug in

No cords, no batteries, no water to spill. Safe to leave down all day while you're out of the house.

  • Rolls up and travels

Folds flat for the crate, the car boot or the holiday cottage. Wherever they nap, it goes.

Why owners give up on the wet towel

Freezer packs and damp towels work for about twenty minutes. Then you're back in the kitchen wringing out another one, and the floor is wet. Chill Paws just sits there and does the job all summer.

  Towels & ice packs

Ready to use with no freezer and no soaking

Recharges itself between naps

Stays dry — no soggy bed, no damp floor

Still Have a Question?

Which size should I get?

Measure your dog lying down at full stretch, then add a little room to spread out. As a rough guide: S (50x40cm) suits cats and puppies, M (62x50cm) small breeds like a Frenchie or Dachshund, L (70x55cm) medium breeds like a Beagle or Collie, XL (100x75cm) large breeds like a Labrador or Golden Retriever, and 2XL (150x100cm) giant breeds or covering a whole sofa.

If your dog is between two sizes, go up — they spread out more in the heat. Not sure? Message us before you order and we'd much rather point you to the right size than process a return.

Does it really stay cool without a freezer?

Yes, but it's worth being clear about what that means. The gel sits a few degrees below room temperature and draws warmth away as your dog lies on it — cool to the touch, not cold like an ice pack. It isn't refrigeration and it won't replace shade or air conditioning on a very hot day.

After a long nap the spot they were lying on will feel warmer. Give it fifteen to twenty minutes with nothing on it and it recharges on its own.

Where can I use it?

Anywhere they already sleep. Lay it flat on the floor, drop it inside a crate, put it on top of their existing bed, or across the back seat for the drive. It works on hard floors and soft bedding alike, and cats take to it just as readily as dogs.

What if my dog chews it?

Worth knowing up front: it isn't chew-proof. Supervise your dog for the first few uses, and if you have a determined chewer we'd honestly suggest not leaving it down unattended.

The gel is non-toxic, but if the mat gets punctured take it away and stop using it.

How do I clean it?

Wipe it down with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air-dry flat. Muddy paws and shedding season come off easily.

One thing to note: don't put it in the washing machine or tumble dryer, and don't fold it away while it's still damp.
